Our Local Commitment 

Here at home, we’re involved with the Special Olympics British Columbia. Our staff volunteers their time to examine the Special Olympic athletes at both the provincial and national games. See our team members in action at the 2014 National Summer Olympic Games in Vancouver.

Our Global Commitment

Sight is our primary sense. Strong, healthy vision is essential for quality of life, safety, education, and more. But not everyone has access to the vision care they need to protect their eyes.

Our team at Vancouver Block Optometrists believes everyone has the right to high-quality vision care, so our doctors volunteer their time to bring their services to underprivileged people around the world. We’ve visited Africa, Central America, South America, and East Asia.
